I was a Girl Scout. I have many fond memories of selling cookies, camping and trying new things with a group of girls that I grew up with. But, to be honest, those memories had been tucked away until recently. Now, my girls, 8 and 10, are both Scouts. And, now I am finding myself being drawn to those experiences again. This time though, through the eyes of both a Girl Scout and a Mom. And what pleases me more than anything, is that my girls both LOVE that this is something that we can share. It's not something independent. They WANT me to do these experiences with them. And I WANT to do it!
The Lakeside paper pad by Pebbles Inc was PERFECT to celebrate our upcoming camping fun! I got so excited to use one of the included post cards for the sentiment!
These adorable penguins from The Cat's Pajamas made me think of my girls. They may have their days when getting along is not in the picture, but at the core of their relationship is a bond, and I know they will always be sister friends. But more than that, they made me think about the friendships that they are both building within their own experiences in Girl Scouts. I hope that they both stay with Scouting. I am having too much fun for them to stop! LOL!
I am entering THREE challenges with this card! Yay!
